Some of these epic battles ended with the death of a character that fans liked. But just because a character dies in anime doesn’t mean they’re gone for good.

In Gantz, Kei Kurono’s death is the beginning of the whole story. He is killed by a train while trying to save someone else. He’s also one of the youngest anime characters to die and come back to life, since he was only a teenager when the terrible accident happened.

He also possessed a quite unusual ability known as “return by death,” which allowed him to return from the dead every time. Natsuki has died numerous times, often in horrific ways. She is most likely one of the anime characters who has been resurrected.
Re:Zero is an intriguing psychological thriller with fantasy elements set in a surprisingly living environment. The plot revolves around Natsuki’s travels in this new realm as he discovers that once he’s living again, he can turn back time. He employs his talent to assist his new buddy Emilia in her ascension to the role of queen.

Pokemon is one of the most fun and creative anime shows ever made, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have sad or scary parts. Ash Ketchum, the positive and sure-of-himself hero of the show, has actually died several times and been brought back to life in different ways over the past few decades.
Ash was sometimes saved by his own Pokemon, Pikachu the most. Pokemon has a lot of cute and strong creatures. There are a lot of popular starter pokemon and other kinds of creatures made up by people’s imaginations. It tells the story of Ash and his journey to become a Pokemon Master.

Yusuke Urameshi – Yu Yu Hakusho
Yusuke Urameshi is a character from an anime who died in one of the kindest ways. He was trying to save a child from a car when the car hit him and killed him. But no one in the afterlife thought he would die, and because he died so selflessly, he gets a second chance.
In Yu Yu Hakusho, the story is about what happens to Yusuke after he agrees to do what Botan, a bubbly spirit, asks him to do. She tells Yusuke that he can go back to his life if he becomes a spirit detective and helps the spirit world by looking into cases involving demons and other supernatural things.

Satoru Mikami
Satoru Mikami was living a normal life in modern-day Tokyo before his death, with a stable employment and loving friends. He was stabbed by a robber and died on the street on an unfortunate day. His reincarnation is likely the oddest in anime, as he was reborn as a slime in a strange magical country.
That Time I Got Reborn as a Slime follows Satoru, who is reincarnated as a slime named Rimuru in this strange new world.
